Percy finished at 13 months of age with four majors. He then went on to Special, earning his AKC GCG title in limited showing with four BOB and 4 Select placements.
This wonderfully intelligent fellow has a lovely, sweet disposition. He was my first Cardigan, first show dog, first Champion, and first Grand Champion. We have learned together and he never lets me down. Percy is my hero.
Like his sire Rocky, Percy has a keen herding instinct, which earned him his JHD title after just five times on sheep! Then, in short order, he Q’d both days at his first trial for an HTADl,s title placing 3rd In Trial (all breed) on the second day!
His striking, glossy black coat with ultra-white trim has gotten him several nice remarks from both judges in the show-ring and ringside spectators. Percy has exceptional bone and feet, a very pretty head with soft expressive eyes, a good shoulder, short stout hocks and a correct top-line. He loves to show and show off his very impressive side gait. Most of all he loves his family, his pack, hiking the trails in Wonderland, and oh my yes, playing “ball”!
Percy was awarded his Champion and Grand Champion points by top judges including: Barbara Dempsey Alderman, Dr. Carmen L. Battaglia, Mr. Jon R. Cole, Mrs. Lydia Coleman Hutchinson, and Mr. James G. Reynolds to name a few.
